ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mai is an award-winning Vietnamese illustrator specializing in children’s publishing. Growing up with her father’s colorful illustrated books and the richness of Asian folklores, Mai’s passion for art and storytelling was nurtured from a young age. Today, she is involved in a wide array of children’s book projects, ranging from enchanting picture books to thought-provoking educational series. She is particularly dedicated to exploring themes that highlight children’s emotional well-being and celebrate the rich, vibrant tapestry of cultures from around the world. Through a captivating fusion of imaginative visual storytelling and bold-vibrant color palettes, she creates art that effectively balances playfulness with emotional depth. Her ultimate goal is to craft stories that not only entertain but also inspire young readers to embrace curiosity, cultivate empathy, and appreciate the rich diversity of cultures that shape our world.
